Love the title!

I tell my kids you never fail unless you blame someone else.

Life is about testing & tweaking. Mistakes are how we learn. Failure is just one more way NOT to do something not a reflection of character.

Thanks for the post! Good stuff.

I am glad to hear that you learned what you needed to do to get and stay connected with your son when he was younger. You saw the signs and you took positive and proactive action and I am happy to hear that the result of your awareness created a great relationship between the two of you. After all, isn’t that what it is all about? Great job!

When my son was younger, if he was talking to me and saw that I was "multi-tasking" he would stop talking and ask me to come see him when I was interested in what he had to say. Ouch! But to this day we focus our attention on the speaker in any of our communications. And we have a great relationship because we chose early on to value each other by giving our undivided attention.

Although I am a father and can understand where the mother in this article is coming from. I kinda went through the same thing except for my father didn't remarry and have kids, as a matter of fact he never even looked for us.
This is the promise I've made myself. If ever me and my wife need to go our seperate ways. I will never divorce my children.
They are my life.

Beautifully written. Many of the Quotes you share are thoughts, ideas and feelings that perhaps have never been thought of before, or are sometimes forgotten. Even on sad days and hard days I remember how blessed I am. I find reasons every day to be thankful! Today one of the things I am thankful for is for what you have shared. Enjoy the day! Hope it is peaceful and sweet!
